On November 12, in Hanoi, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission held a national conference to train science and education work in 2025. The conference was held in person and online at provincial and commune-level bridges nationwide.

Comrade Trinh Van Quyet, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission for Mass Mobilization chaired the Conference.

Attending the conference were Party Central Committee members: Nguyen Manh Hung, Minister of Science and Technology; Nguyen Kim Son, Minister of Education and Training; Dao Hong Lan, Minister of Health.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Trinh Van Quyet suggested that the conference focus on the following key contents: Raising awareness, unifying ideology and the strategic role of science and education work. Continuing to thoroughly grasp the viewpoints, goals and tasks on science and education that have been identified in the Resolutions of the 13th National Party Congress, thematic resolutions of the Central Committee, the Politburo and the Secretariat.

Strengthen the capacity to advise, direct, guide and inspect science and technology work. Concretize and organize the implementation of resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Party, ensuring that the advice work is ahead of the curve, close to reality and has a vision and high efficiency. Innovate the content, methods and style of science and technology work in a modern and practical direction. Promote digital transformation, apply artificial intelligence and big data in science and technology work. Improve the effectiveness of propaganda about the Party's guidelines, linked to the practical interests of the people.

Comrade Trinh Van Quyet emphasized: Promoting the combined strength of the entire political system, especially the coordination of propaganda and mass mobilization work in the field of science and education and departments, ministries, branches and localities; making culture, people, moral education, lifestyle and revolutionary ideals become a solid spiritual foundation of society, creating a healthy cultural environment in every family, school and community.

At the conference, delegates listened to leaders of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education and Training, and the Ministry of Health inform on 3 topics: "Requirements for breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, and digital transformation to meet the new situation"; "Results of implementing the Party and State's guidelines and policies on fundamental innovation in education and training; implementing Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW dated August 22, 2025 of the Politburo on breakthroughs and development of education and training; tasks of localities in advising on the implementation of this important Resolution"; "Results of implementing the Party and State's guidelines and policies on people's health care and grassroots health development in the past time; tasks and solutions to implement Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW dated September 9, 2025 of the Politburo on a number of breakthrough solutions, strengthening the protection, care and improvement of people's health".
