All 6 Hanoi students won medals at the International Junior Science Olympiad

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training said that all six students from the city - representing Vietnamese students - participating in the 2025 International Junior Science Olympiad in the Russian Federation excellently won medals including three silver medals and three bronze medals.

All six students are from Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted. Three students won Silver Medals: Do Bao Trang, Hoang Khoi Nguyen and Tran Ngoc Hung; three students won Bronze Medals: Nguyen Dong Quan, Trinh Nguyen Hung and Do Manh Hung.

The 2025 International Junior Science Olympiad will take place from November 23 to December 3 in the Russian Federation, with the participation of 122 contestants from 24 countries and territories. This is a prestigious competition for students under 15 years old, organized by the Ministries of Education and Training of countries around the world. The competition aims to encourage students to have early access to practical scientific knowledge, creating momentum for global educational cooperation, opening up opportunities for cultural exchange between students and teachers.

For many years, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training has been entrusted by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Hanoi People's Committee with the task of selecting and establishing student teams to participate in the exam and have achieved excellent results, contributing to affirming the quality and prestige of Vietnam's leading education to other countries. Through the times of participating in the exam (from 2007 to present), the Hanoi team, representing Vietnam, has always achieved high results.
