All commune-level People's Councils in Nam Sach have passed resolutions to reorganize communes and towns.

The People's Council delegates of 8 communes passed a resolution on the implementation of the arrangement and merger of commune-level administrative units with a high consensus rate.

Nam Sach is the locality that completed the above content early. According to the plan of Hai Duong province, localities must complete submitting to the People's Council at the commune level for approval of the implementation of the arrangement of administrative units before March 31. It is expected that on March 25, the People's Council of Nam Sach district will hold a meeting to consider the proposal on the arrangement of administrative units at the commune level in the district for the period 2023-2025.

According to the overall plan for arranging commune-level administrative units in Nam Sach district in the period of 2023 - 2025, Thanh Quang commune will merge with Quoc Tuan commune to form Quoc Tuan commune; Nam Trung commune will merge with Nam Chinh commune to form Tran Phu commune; Phu Dien commune will merge with An Lam commune to form An Phu commune; Nam Hong commune will merge into Nam Sach town.
