Fishing boat suddenly sank while anchored on Nhat Le River

QTO - According to information from Nhat Le Border Guard Station, Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard Command, at about 1:30 a.m. on December 7, a fishing boat while anchored in the Nhat Le River area, Dong Hoi Ward, suddenly sank, the cause is unknown.

At that time, the fishing boat with registration number QB-91186-TS, 17.5m long, fishing with purse seine, owned by Mr. Hoang Anh Ty (born in 1977, permanent resident of My Canh residential group, Dong Hoi ward), was anchored in Nhat Le river, in the area of ​​My Canh residential group, when it suddenly sank.

After discovering the ship, the ship owner, his family and local people pulled the ship to shore, but because the ship was large, the family will salvage the ship by pumping it up. The initial cause of the sinking has not been determined, however, the damage is estimated at about 250 million VND.
