Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Viet Cuong - Vice Chairman of Tay Ho Ward People's Committee emphasized: "Digital transformation is no longer a strange concept but an inevitable trend, a strategic step to develop the country in the new era. The theme of this year's National Digital Transformation Day is "Digital transformation: Faster, more efficient, closer to the people" with a profound message that all technological advances are only truly meaningful when applied to serve people, serving the lives of the people.
In recent times, responding to the policy of the Central Government and Hanoi City on digital transformation, Tay Ho Ward has been proactive and creative in implementing it in all areas of social life. Up to now, 100% of eligible administrative procedures have been provided with online public services in part or in full; staff, civil servants and public employees have been regularly trained and are proficient in using digital platforms and software in management and operation such as document management, evaluation of staff, civil servants and public employees, reporting systems of the City and Government, digital signatures, and electronic records.

Neighborhood groups are instructed to install and effectively use digital applications such as iHanoi, Etax Mobile, VSSID, VNeID, electronic party member handbooks... to help people access and use technology more conveniently and quickly. In addition, businesses, traditional markets, and service stores in the area actively apply cashless payments and QR codes, contributing to building a civilized and modern transaction environment.
Propaganda and guidance work for people, students, and members of organizations on digital technology skills is also maintained regularly and in a variety of forms, creating a solid foundation for digital transformation to truly go into depth, practically serving people's lives.
In particular, the Ward People's Committee has effectively implemented the Campaign "45 days and nights of launching to support digital transformation activities" according to Directive No. 11/CT-UBND dated July 25, 2025 of the Hanoi People's Committee and was awarded a "Letter of Merit" by the City People's Committee leaders.

Although the results are still in the early stages, they have created a clear change in awareness, gradually forming digital habits in the community. This is an important foundation, paving the way for a sustainable and comprehensive digital transformation process in the coming time.
On that basis, the People's Committee of Tay Ho Ward identified the key task of building and spreading the brand "Tay Ho Digital Citizen" - a model of people who are proactive and flexible in accessing and applying technology. The goal is to make digital transformation an essential part of daily life, forming a widespread movement throughout society, so that each citizen is not only a beneficiary of the results but also an active subject, accompanying the government in the digital development process.

At the launching ceremony, Vice Chairman of Tay Ho Ward People's Committee Nguyen Viet Cuong called on all cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, workers, agencies, organizations, businesses and people in the area to promote the spirit of solidarity, join hands to build Tay Ho Ward into a "Model Ward of Digital Transformation". The goal is to form a digital government model serving the people, a digital society spreading to every street, every household; at the same time affirming and spreading the brand "Tay Ho Digital Citizen", dynamic, creative people, ready to adapt in the digital age and national integration.
Responding to the call, representatives of the Youth Union and the Tay Ho Ward Community Digital Transformation Teams expressed their determination to pioneer in bringing digital transformation into every learning, working and daily life activity, contributing to realizing the goal of "every citizen is a digital citizen".
Immediately after the launching ceremony, delegates participated in the movement's launching ceremony and directly experienced the digital transformation models and applications being deployed in the area, demonstrating the spirit of innovation, creativity and determination to act for a modern, civilized, and comprehensively digitalized Tay Ho.
