The figures were announced by Director of the Tay Ninh Department of Finance Truong Van Liep at the Tay Ninh province investment promotion conference in the Kansai region on November 17, within the framework of a working trip to promote and boost investment cooperation with Japan. According to Mr. Liep, these efforts aim to create a favorable environment, attract Japanese and international enterprises, and closely connect with economic centers in Kansai, opening up opportunities for effective industrial and investment cooperation, towards sustainable economic growth and common benefits for localities.

The head of the finance sector of Tay Ninh province said that Tay Ninh possesses a special strategic position, being the western gateway, connecting Ho Chi Minh City with the Mekong Delta and the southern development corridor, and at the same time being an important trade hub with Cambodia, with 4 international border gates, creating outstanding advantages for trade, logistics services and border gate economy.
At the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Tan Hoa said that Japan is the province's leading economic partner. Evidence of this effective cooperative relationship is that the province currently has 176 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects of Japanese enterprises, with a total investment capital of more than 1.26 billion USD, ranking 4th out of 40 countries and territories with investment projects in Tay Ninh, spanning many key areas.
Tay Ninh always considers Japan as a strategic, reliable and long-term partner, and wishes to promote comprehensive cooperation in priority areas such as high-tech industry, energy, logistics, digital transformation, renewable energy and smart urban development. Tay Ninh is committed to being a safe, attractive and sustainable destination for Japanese investors, especially businesses and corporations from the Kansai region.
“With the spirit of sincere cooperation - sustainable development - looking towards the future, the program will open up many specific and practical cooperation opportunities, contributing to the common development of Tay Ninh province, partners in the Kansai region and Japan in general,” Mr. Pham Tan Hoa emphasized.

Mr. Ha emphasized that Kansai is the leading economic and industrial region in Japan, gathering many large corporations and high-tech enterprises; Tay Ninh's expansion of cooperation here will open up many new investment opportunities.
“With diverse economic potential, a favorable investment environment and strong commitment from the government, Tay Ninh is becoming an attractive destination for Japanese investors. The Consulate General will continue to accompany and support the province in connecting, promoting and implementing effective cooperation projects between the two sides,” said Mr. Ha.
The Tay Ninh Investment Promotion Conference in the Kansai region has affirmed the province's attractiveness to Japanese enterprises, while consolidating Tay Ninh's position as a strategic, dynamic and reliable investment destination in Vietnam. Cooperation agreements, business connection activities, and the commitment of the government and the attention of Japanese corporations have created a solid foundation for a period of extensive cooperation, promoting comprehensive cooperation and opening up mutually beneficial investment opportunities.
