On December 9, the People's Council of Tay Ninh province, term X, 2021-2026, held the 7th session (year-end session) to assess the socio -economic development situation in 2025 and the plan for 2026, and determine the strategic vision for the locality in the new period.

In 2025, Tay Ninh will achieve an estimated economic growth rate of 9.52% (higher than the Government's target of 9.3%), ranking second in the Southeast region and eighth in the country. Of which, the industrial production index increased by 14.92%. Tay Ninh's exports reached 16.08 billion USD, up 9.21%; imports 12.16 billion USD, up 13.77%. During the year, Tay Ninh welcomed about 7.1 million tourists , with revenue reaching 4,433 billion VND, up 40.5% over the same period last year.

Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee Pham Tan Hoa reported on the local socio-economic development situation and orientation for the coming period.

Regarding development orientation in the coming period, Tay Ninh aims to have a dynamic and sustainable economic development by 2030, and be a strategic connection center between the Southeast region and the Mekong Delta, Vietnam - Cambodia.

To concretize the goal, Tay Ninh province proposed groups of solutions. First of all, reorganize the development space, form economic centers and corridors to exploit the maximum potential. At the same time, restructure the economy associated with innovation of the growth model and increase resilience.

Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 through Tay Ninh province is one of the connecting traffic projects that is about to be completed.

Tay Ninh will also urgently deploy key traffic projects to create infrastructure breakthroughs. Continue to improve the investment and business environment associated with enhancing the competitiveness index and effectively operating the public administrative center.
