Tay Ninh sets the goal that by 2030, the province's socio -economic development will be rapid, comprehensive and sustainable, making the province one of the industrial and tourism centers of the Southeast and the whole country, becoming a place worth visiting and living. By 2050, the province will have an effective public administration system, a friendly business environment, and an attractive living environment based on a sustainable and diverse ecosystem.
To implement the above goals, the province has been making continuous efforts to build and realize development strategies in many fields. Especially in implementing the national target program on sustainable poverty reduction for the period 2021 - 2025.
In addition to the successes in implementing national target programs: New rural construction, socio-economic development in ethnic minority areas, Tay Ninh has made constant efforts in sustainable poverty reduction.
Poverty reduction work is implemented through 191 projects and livelihood models.
The province has focused on effectively implementing component projects such as supporting production development, diversifying livelihoods, replicating poverty reduction models, while improving the quality of housing, health care,education , clean water and environmental sanitation for poor and near-poor households.
In particular, the province always focuses on implementing preferential policies for remote, isolated, border areas and ethnic minorities, aiming to shorten the gap between rich and poor and ensure social justice. The work of reviewing and updating poor and near-poor households according to the new multidimensional standards is also carried out seriously, correctly, transparently and promptly.
Poverty reduction work was implemented through 191 projects and livelihood models, helping more than 1,587 households escape poverty sustainably, reducing the multidimensional poverty rate of the whole province to 0.65%.
The cooperative economy has developed strongly with 132 agricultural cooperatives, an increase of 42 cooperatives compared to the beginning of the term. The average revenue of each cooperative is 960 million VND/year, 70% of which operate effectively. Many farmer association models, such as the Bau Don durian and Tay Ninh custard apple associations, help connect farmers with businesses and scientists, spreading production knowledge.
As a result, the total number of poor and near-poor households in the province is now only 1,473 (of which, there are 335 poor households and 1,138 near-poor households), accounting for 0.45%. Compared to the beginning of the period, the province has reduced 4,368 households (including 1,740 poor households and 2,628 near-poor households), a corresponding reduction of 1.38%. This means that the scale of multidimensional poor and near-poor households has decreased by nearly 75%.

Attractive living environment based on a sustainable and diverse ecosystem
Tay Ninh has an important position in the exchange of goods between the provinces of the Mekong Delta and the provinces of the Southern Key Economic Zone.
In the investment attraction orientation, the province also prioritizes projects with advanced science and technology content, environmental friendliness, renewable energy development, circular economic model development, clean agriculture, high-tech agriculture, etc.
Implementing the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term, the direction and administration of the implementation of socio-economic development tasks by the leaders of Tay Ninh province are consistent with the viewpoint of "not trading the environment for economic growth".
With the determination to continue improving the provincial green index, authorities at all levels actively promote businesses to promote "green practices" in production and business from small things such as: "digitalizing paperwork to reduce paper use", "using energy-saving technology", "reducing consumption and using energy efficiently in business operations", "installing air quality monitoring stations", "using renewable energy", "minimizing the use of plastic in the production and packaging process"...
According to the leaders of Tay Ninh province, this effort not only helps improve the PGI index but also contributes to building a sustainable living and working environment for the community.
Tay Ninh also focuses on developing a circular economic model, thereby optimizing raw materials, reducing production costs, in line with the goals of sustainable development, adapting to and mitigating climate change. Tay Ninh's circular economy focuses on potential products such as livestock, cassava, and sugarcane to reduce costs and create more economic value for the industry chain.
Implementing the Environmental Protection Strategy, Tay Ninh province has also issued a plan to implement the National Environmental Protection Strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2050.
The goal of this plan is to prevent the increasing trend of pollution and environmental degradation; solve urgent environmental problems; gradually improve and restore environmental quality; prevent biodiversity loss; contribute to improving the capacity to proactively respond to climate change; ensure environmental security, build and develop circular economic models, green economy, low carbon, strive to achieve the province's sustainable development goals by 2030.
