This is a surface-to-sea missile complex researched and produced by Vietnam. According to the introduction of the staff at the exhibition area, the Truong Son missile complex includes: VTRV-01 missile loading vehicle, VCPV-01 command and control vehicle, VLV-01 launcher vehicle, VTAR-1 target warning and indication radar vehicle and Song Hong anti-ship missile.

In particular, the VLV-01 launcher vehicle is a self-propelled vehicle, capable of controlling different types of missiles. The vehicle can fight in independent or concentrated mode.
VLV-01 is 12.2 m long, 2.75 m wide, 4.2 m high, can carry up to 8 missiles, deployment time is no more than 10 minutes. The launcher on the vehicle can reload missiles quickly.
The VTRV-01 missile transport and loading vehicle is equipped with a hydraulic crane system to reload all four missiles to the launcher in less than 40 minutes. Similar in size to the VLV-01 launcher vehicle, the missile loading vehicle can carry eight missiles at a time.

The VTAR-1 radar vehicle is capable of detecting, locating and tracking surface targets, providing target information. The radar vehicle is electronically resistant and operates 24/7.

VTAR-1 has a medium target detection range, deployment and recovery time of less than 25 minutes, is 12.2 m long, 2.75 m wide, and 4.2 m high.
The VCPV-01 command vehicle is mounted on the Kamaz-5350 truck chassis. The vehicle contains equipment for seamless communication and coordination between the components of the missile complex.

By design, VCPV-01 has centralized missile launch control, the vehicle can simultaneously connect 8 VLV-01 launcher vehicles (each vehicle can carry up to 8 missiles). Deployment time is under 10 minutes.
Core components of coastal defense systems
Finally, the Red River anti-ship missile (VSM-01A, VSM stands for Vietnamese Cruise Missile).
This coastal defense missile has a diameter of 315 mm, a length of no more than 5 m, and a mass of less than 600 kg. The missile has a subsonic flight speed (nearly equal to the speed of sound), and a range of up to 80 km. The missile is equipped with an advanced guidance system, has high anti-jamming ability, helping to increase accuracy. The missile's targets are mainly surface ships.

Notably, Vietnam has been able to master the technology and produce the Red River missile itself, helping it to be more proactive in supplying missiles to the Truong Son defense complexes. Before the announcement, the vehicle was tested and met the standard features according to the regulations of the Ministry of National Defense .
In addition to participating in the exhibition, the Truong Son missile complex also participated in the parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2.
According to the explanation, the Truong Son missile complex was researched and produced by Viettel . The complex has the task of observing the sea surface, collecting and processing information, selecting targets to destroy and carrying out missile attacks in modern combat conditions.
This is one of the core components of the coastal defense system that can launch powerful missile strikes, destroying enemy targets, contributing to firmly protecting sea and island sovereignty .

Naming the complex after the Truong Son mountain range and the missile after the Red River has a profound symbolic meaning: the combination of "mountains and rivers", affirming the determination to protect the sovereignty, territory and islands of the Fatherland.
