This year's "Tet Reunion - Spring Gratitude to the Party" program was vibrant and exciting, featuring many meaningful activities for workers and employees. In addition to the ceremonial part of the program, union members, workers, and employees participated in activities such as: a rice cake wrapping competition, arranging Tet fruit trays, and a prize draw.

In his opening remarks, Comrade Nguyen Van Thang, Chairman of the Hanoi City Federation of Labor, stated that with the spirit of "All union members and workers have a happy Tet holiday," ensuring no one is left behind, "Tet Reunion" has become an annual activity with profound humanitarian significance for the trade union organization every Tet holiday. This is not only a program to care for the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers, but also an opportunity for the trade union organization to express its affection, responsibility, and trust; allowing workers to feel more deeply the concern of the Party, the State, the city, and the entire society.

The "Tet Reunion - Spring Gratitude to the Party" program in 2026 was organized throughout the city, from the central level to the city level, including commune and ward trade unions, trade unions in Hanoi's high-tech and industrial zones, trade unions of corporations, and grassroots trade unions; 100% of commune and ward trade unions in the city organized this practical and meaningful activity. This year, for the Year of the Horse (2016), the entire Hanoi trade union system is expected to distribute 83,000 Tet gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, and provide 5,500 bus tickets to workers, with 1,200 workers being directly transported back to their hometowns for Tet. In particular, in the spirit of striving and progressing in the new era, the Hanoi Federation of Labor will directly organize and assign commune and ward trade unions to visit and encourage workers who work throughout the Tet holiday.
800 union members and workers with particularly difficult circumstances attending today's program received support of 1,000,000 VND per person, along with Tet gifts and shopping vouchers; they immersed themselves in the traditional Tet atmosphere with activities such as making banh chung (traditional rice cakes), displaying the five-fruit tray, folk games, and a lucky draw - so that Tet is not only about abundance, but also about warmth and family reunion.

Speaking at the program, Hanoi Party Secretary Nguyen Duy Ngoc emphasized the determination of the entire Party Committee and political system of the city to quickly implement the Resolution of the 18th Congress of the Hanoi Party Committee and the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party.
The Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee highly appreciated it. The "Tet Reunion - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" program, organized by the Hanoi City Federation of Labor, affirms that this is an activity with profound political and social significance; at the same time, it acknowledges and commends the important contributions of the capital's workers and employees to the achievement of the city's socio -economic development goals in 2025. In particular, the Hanoi City Federation of Labor has implemented many creative and effective approaches in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of its members and workers.

In 2026, Comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc proposed that the Hanoi Trade Union continue to innovate its content and methods of operation, focusing on effectively fulfilling the task of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members, workers, and employees. First, after the Lunar New Year, it is necessary to have complete data on union members and workers in the city to monitor the effectiveness of support work; at the same time, appropriate solutions should be developed for cases of prolonged difficulties, thereby continuing to accompany, share, and resolve difficulties for union members and workers.

The Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee also requested that the Trade Union continue to focus strongly on the grassroots level, promptly grasping the thoughts and aspirations of union members, workers, and employees to advise and propose appropriate solutions; strengthen propaganda and mobilization efforts to encourage union members and workers to share and support businesses in overcoming difficulties; actively participate in labor and production emulation movements, promote initiatives and technical improvements, increase labor productivity and production and business efficiency, and make positive contributions to the sustainable development of the Capital.
