A 26kg python was released into a house after the flood.

A 26kg python that strayed into a house after a flood has just been released back into its natural forest environment by authorities.

On November 12, the Southern Perfume River Forest Protection Department coordinated with the People's Committee of Thanh Thuy Ward ( Hue City) and relevant agencies to release a python (Python bivittatus) back into the forest in accordance with wildlife protection regulations.

Previously, on November 8, Mr. Phan Van Long (residing in residential group 12A, Thanh Thuy ward) discovered a 26kg python straying into his garden after the flood. He proactively captured it, reported it to the authorities and handed it over to the ward People's Committee.
