Daun Penh Agrico is a subsidiary of Thaco Agri, the agricultural segment within the ecosystem of the Thaco Group.

The Cambodia Stock Exchange (CSX) recently held an official listing ceremony for corporate bonds issued by Daun Penh Agrico Co., Ltd. Daun Penh Agrico is a subsidiary of Thaco Agri, a member of the Thaco Group.

According to CSX's announcement, Daun Penh Agrico has been approved to list corporate bonds for professional investors, with a total issuance value of up to 196 billion riel, equivalent to 50 million USD.

The bond issue, named Daun Penh Guaranteed Bond, has a maturity of 8 years (2025-2033), an interest rate of 5.25% per annum, and interest is paid quarterly. The bonds are issued in Cambodian riel, with a face value of 100,000 riel per bond (equivalent to 25 USD), and the issuance price is 100% of the face value.

Daun Penh Agrico operates primarily in the construction and operation of fruit farms, combined with agricultural processing plants for export.

The company is headquartered in Ratanakiri province, an area considered to have great potential in terms of land resources and industrial-scale agricultural development in Cambodia.

The bond issuance was underwritten by GuarantCo Ltd. and its credit rating was advised by Fitch Ratings.

At the ceremony, Mr. Phan Ba ​​Cuong, Deputy General Director of Agri Thaco, said that the listing of this bond issue is a historic milestone, marking the first time Daun Penh Agrico has accessed international capital for agricultural projects in Cambodia.

The capital raised from this issuance will be used for investment in machinery, equipment, infrastructure, and human resources to support large-scale agricultural production.
