This year, sponsor Thaco has increased the prize for the contestants. Specifically, the champion of Road to Olympia received a prize worth VND equivalent to 50,000 USD (an increase of 25%). All prizes for the second and third prize winners have also doubled compared to last year (second prize 200 million VND, third prize 100 million VND).
Representative of the main sponsor of the program, Mr. Tran Ba Duong - Chairman of Thaco Board of Directors (right) attended and presented the award.
According to Thaco, the increase in prize value is due to the sponsor's acceptance of the community's opinion that the prizes are not commensurate with the scale of the competition, especially the second and third prizes have a difference, not suitable compared to the first prize.
