At the handover ceremony, Mr. Ngo Van Hai, Deputy Director of Chu Lai Truong Hai Industrial and Urban Infrastructure Development Investment Company Limited, representing THACO Group, presented a donation of 500 million VND to support the "For the Poor" Fund of Da Nang City in 2026.
Mr. Ngo Van Hai stated that, with a sustainable development strategy linked to social responsibility, THACO always identifies partnering with local authorities in ensuring social welfare as one of its key tasks.
Supporting the "For the Poor" Fund of Da Nang city demonstrates the responsibility and sharing spirit of businesses towards the community, contributing to supporting poor households and those in difficult circumstances, and joining hands with the city to achieve the goal of sustainable poverty reduction.
Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Tran Thi Man, expressed gratitude for the attention and support of Truong Hai Group in social welfare work in the area.
At the same time, it was affirmed that the donated funds would be managed, allocated, and used for the intended purpose, openly and transparently; focusing on supporting the construction of solidarity houses, supporting livelihoods, caring for the lives of poor and near-poor households, and those with particularly difficult circumstances.
According to the Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city, in recent years, the "For the Poor" Fund of Da Nang city has effectively mobilized the participation of agencies, units, businesses and all strata of people, creating important resources to implement poverty reduction programs, contributing to the effective implementation of social security policies and strengthening the great national unity.
