Host country Thailand carefully prepares sound system - Video : THANH DINH
Today (December 4), the host paid special attention to the sound system at the opening match of the women's football SEA Games 33 between Thailand and Indonesia.
Learning from the incident of "forgetting" to play the national anthem at Rajamangala Stadium on December 3 during the men's football match between U22 Vietnam and U22 Laos, the host country has carried out technical preparations, especially sound, very carefully.
Tuoi Tre Online noted that at Chonburi Stadium, the technical team spent a lot of time testing the speakers, microphones and especially the national anthem music files of the teams.
They continuously played the national anthems of the countries at the SEA Games beforehand. The organizing committee wanted to ensure that the sacred flag-raising ceremony - the important opening part of each match - would be carried out solemnly and smoothly, avoiding the situation where the players had to "sing a cappella" like the U22 Vietnam and U22 Laos teams.

Earlier on the evening of December 3, the U22 Vietnam and U22 Laos teams performed the flag-raising ceremony, but the national anthem was not played due to technical problems. The players of both teams were forced to sing the national anthem themselves.
Immediately after the match, the 33rd SEA Games Organizing Committee sent an official letter of apology to the Olympic Committees of Vietnam and Laos.

In Group B of the women's football tournament taking place in Chonburi, with the participation of the women's teams of Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines and Myanmar, the organization work was also tightened.
Tomorrow (December 5), coach Mai Duc Chung and his team will have their opening match against Malaysia at 6:30 p.m.
