
At the event, host country Thailand updated the latest information on the Main Press Centers (MPCs) and Sub-Press Centers (SPCs), which provide essential facilities and services to support news agencies and press participating in the 33rd SEA Games and 13th ASEAN Para Games.
For the 33rd SEA Games, the main media center will be located at the National Broadcasting and Television of Thailand (NBT) headquarters in Bangkok, while the secondary media centers will be located at the competition venues in Bangkok, Chonburi and Songkhla. For the 13th ASEAN Para Games, the media centers will be located in Nakhon Ratchasima.

Along with the press centers, the host country Thailand also arranged the International Broadcast Center (IBC) at the NBT headquarters to facilitate and ensure broadcasting work.
At the second Video Conference and Press Conference, Mr. Chuchat Pimpraset, head of the International Television Center, highlighted the main features of IBC, including issues related to technology, signal transmission, content and broadcasting services... IBC is expected to officially operate from December 1 to 22 to serve the 33rd SEA Games.

According to Mr. Chuchat Pimpraset, for the 33rd SEA Games, Thailand will broadcast live the opening and closing ceremonies and the competition program of 31 sports , including football, volleyball, boxing, weightlifting, e-sports... For the 13th ASEAN Para Games, in addition to the ceremonies, the host country will broadcast live 15 sports, such as wheelchair racing, sitting volleyball, wheelchair basketball, table tennis...
Mr. Chuchat Pimpraset said that the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT), the Public Relations Department of Thailand (PRD) and local media agencies will work closely to ensure broadcasting standards of regional sporting events.
On the afternoon of November 14, representatives of the host country Thailand had meetings with a number of television stations and distributors from countries interested in broadcasting the 33rd SEA Games. To broadcast the 33rd SEA Games, each unit must pay a fee of 20,000 USD.

Previously, on November 13, reporters from ASEAN countries visited the National Sports University of Thailand in Chonburi province, where women's football, weightlifting, field hockey, etc. competitions will take place. Preparations for facilities for the competitions here are being accelerated.
Reporters also visited the main press center and the international television center at the NBT headquarters. Compared to the time of the first video conference and press conference on the 33rd SEA Games and the 13th ASEAN Para Games held last September, the facilities to support media agencies are gradually being completed.

According to the plan, the 33rd SEA Games will take place at many locations in the cities of Bangkok, Chonburi and Songkhla in Thailand from December 9 to 20, 2025. Each location chosen by the host country is to demonstrate the capacity to organize regional-scale events, while highlighting the unique features of each locality. On December 9, the opening ceremony of the 33rd SEA Games will be held at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok, with a capacity of up to 65,000 people. Athletes participating in the 33rd SEA Games will compete in 54 sports, with a total of 574 sets of medals.

The 13th ASEAN Para Games is scheduled to be held in Nakhon Ratchasima, Northeast Thailand from January 20 to 26, 2026. The 13th ASEAN Para Games includes 19 sports, such as cycling, archery, wheelchair fencing, etc.
The 33rd SEA Games and the 13th ASEAN Para Games brought together a large number of athletes from the member countries of the Southeast Asian Games Federation (SEAGF), namely Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor Leste and Vietnam. The participation of the 11 member countries contributed to demonstrating solidarity and the spirit of cooperation in the Southeast Asian region.
