The report presented by Colonel Vu Van Nhat, Deputy Chief of Staff of the General Department of Logistics and Technology at the conference stated that in 2025, the staff work in the General Department of Logistics and Technology achieved many positive results. Notably, it has comprehensively completed 16 key tasks for the 2021-2026 period and the goals and tasks of logistics and technology according to the Resolution of the 11th Party Congress of the Army.
The General Department has proactively forecasted and proposed to increase the reserve amount; maintained, supplemented, and strictly managed the amount of logistics materials, technical equipment (VKTBKT), ammunition reserves ready for combat, and national reserves in the Ministry of National Defense , ready to ensure missions in all situations; advised and proposed to organize logistics and technical agencies and arrange the use and guarantee of barracks, logistics and technical facilities when deploying local military organizations and Border Guards according to the new organization. Directed the implementation, appraisal, and strict acceptance, on schedule, and quality of programs and plans for purchasing, extending, repairing, improving, and modernizing VKTBKT.

In addition, the General Department has advised and directed agencies and units to comprehensively complete the military and defense task targets in 2025. Ensure good logistics and technical work for combat readiness tasks, regular and unexpected; advise on innovation of program content and methods, improve training quality; organize competitions and demonstrations to assess requirements and tasks. Propose and implement many policies and measures in building discipline, discipline management, and building a strong and comprehensive unit "Exemplary and typical".
Advise, direct and guide agencies and units to promptly review, adjust, supplement and perfect the system of combat documents; effectively deploy combat readiness work; and effectively perform the work of preventing and responding to fire and explosion risks and incidents.

Concluding the conference, Major General Phung Ngoc Son requested that in the coming time, agencies and units need to improve the quality of grasping and forecasting the situation, perform well the function of advising and proposing to the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense on logistics and technical work; develop plans to ensure logistics and technical work and deploy key projects, tasks and projects in the logistics and technical sector to ensure quality and on schedule.
In particular, it is necessary to focus on implementing well the logistics and technical work of defense of military zones and defense areas in accordance with the new administrative boundaries. Guide and direct the implementation of the dissolution and merger of strategic and campaign-level warehouses according to the decision of the Ministry of National Defense. Implement well the work of ensuring timely, sufficient, synchronized, and high-quality logistics and technical equipment, means, and materials for the tasks.
