Mother Do Thi Mien is 93 years old this year, her husband and 2 children died in the resistance war against America. Kindly visiting and wishing good health to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Do Thi Mien, Colonel Bui Van Sy, Deputy Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, informed her about the outstanding results in socio-economic, defense and security of the country as well as of Dong Nai province, especially the province's stabilization of the 2-level local government apparatus.
President Bui Van Sy affirmed that Dong Nai province always pays tribute to and remembers the great contributions of generations of fathers and brothers, heroic martyrs, heroic Vietnamese mothers, wounded and sick soldiers, etc. who have devoted their blood and sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation. At the same time, he promised mothers, cadres, armed forces and people of all walks of life to continue promoting tradition to join hands in building the country to develop more and more, determined to preserve the peace and independence of the nation.
