Visit and give gifts to disadvantaged women members

(CT) - Ms. Vo Thi Thuy Doan, Chairwoman of the Women's Union of O Mon Ward, and officials of the Women's Union of the ward recently visited and presented gifts to 7 female members from poor, near-poor households, those in difficult circumstances, and victims of Agent Orange/dioxin in the area.

At the places they visited, the ward Women's Union officials kindly visited and encouraged the women to overcome difficulties in life, work hard, develop the economy , and escape poverty. On this occasion, the Union gave each woman a gift including necessities and cash, totaling 400,000 VND/gift.

Since the beginning of the year, the Women's Union of O Mon Ward has mobilized social resources to donate more than 900 gifts to members in difficult circumstances, with a total value of over 220 million VND.
