Ambassador Le Quang Long sent congratulations to Ambassador Vanhtha Sengmeuang and all staff of the Lao Embassy on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the National Day of the Lao People's Democratic Republic and the 105th birthday of President Kaysone Phomvihane.
Emphasizing that the special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos is a priceless asset, a rare symbol in the history of international relations and will always be preserved and promoted by generations, Ambassador Le Quang Long believes that the loyal and pure relationship between the two countries will continue to develop more deeply in the coming time, for peace , stability and sustainable development in the region and the world.
On behalf of the Lao Party, State and people, Lao Ambassador to Cuba Vanhtha Sengmeuang thanked Ambassador Le Quang Long and all staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Cuba for their sincere feelings; affirming that the major milestones in 2025 are an opportunity for the two countries to look back on the journey of solidarity, standing side by side in the struggle for independence as well as in the current national construction.
During the meeting, in a warm, friendly atmosphere imbued with traditional ties between the two peoples, Ambassador Le Quang Long and Lao Ambassador Vanhtha Sengmeuang reviewed important milestones of the great Vietnam-Laos friendship; and agreed to promote coordination between the two representative agencies in Cuba in the fields of Party foreign affairs, State diplomacy , people-to-people cooperation and information and communication.
The congratulatory visit contributed to strengthening the Vietnam-Laos solidarity in Cuba and continued to affirm the two sides' determination to further deepen the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation in the new period.
