
Thanh Nien Lap Nghiep Village - Ward 9 (Ha Lam town) was established in 2000, with the relocation of low-lying households along the Truong Giang River that suffered heavy damage after the historic flood in 1999. Initially named Tu Chanh village, it was later renamed Thanh Nien Lap Nghiep village.
The village is located in Go Dua area, bordering the three villages of Ngoc Pho (Binh Phu), Tu Chanh (Binh Phuc), Chung Phuoc (Ha Lam town). The newly established village has 100 households who are demobilized soldiers, outstanding young people from poor and disadvantaged households in low-lying communes such as Binh Hai, Binh Sa, Binh Minh... who have settled down to establish the village. Each household is given 200m2 of residential land, financial support for house construction, and fields and gardens for economic development.

After 25 years of establishment, Thanh Nien Lap Nghiep village now has 58 more young people getting married, 21 young people completing military service, 4 party members in the village, no poor or near-poor households in the village; 100% of households in the village have registered to build a model of learning families, learning communities and have effectively implemented the 3 no's campaign "Say no to illiteracy, say no to poverty, say no to crime".
Thanks to that, in the village, 25 children have finished university and college and have stable jobs; 21 children are university students, 63 students of all levels of general education, and the village has no cases of students dropping out of school.

On this occasion, the District Association for Promotion of Education awarded 3 students with excellent achievements (3 million VND/scholarship), and awarded 86 scholarships (each worth from 500,000 VND - 1 million VND) to students in the village.
