Vietnam futsal team faces formidable opponent

The Vietnamese futsal team entered the final match against Thailand with the mission of having to win if they want to take the top spot in Group A. In the past 10 years, Vietnam has only won 1 match against Thailand in the Southeast Asian playground. While Vietnamese futsal has only risen since 2016 with a ticket to the World Cup, Thai futsal has been the "giant" of Southeast Asia with 16 regional championships after 16 times participating.

In the remaining match, Thailand will face Indonesia at 3:30 p.m. on November 8.

For 12 years, Vietnam futsal has not reached the Southeast Asian final. If they defeat Australia, coach Giustozzi and his team will reach the final match.
