The Hai Phong City Youth Union organized the charity program "Warm Winter in the Highlands" in Cao Bang province.

The "Warm Winter in the Highlands" program in 2026 by the Hai Phong City Youth Union is a practical activity to celebrate the success of the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Leaders of the Hai Phong City Youth Union presented funding for social welfare activities to the Cao Bang Provincial Youth Union.

To celebrate the success of the 14th National Congress of the Party, from January 22-24, the Hai Phong City Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union of Hai Phong City, in coordination with the Cao Bang Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union of Cao Bang Province, organized the "Warm Winter in the Highlands" program in Ha Lang commune (Cao Bang).

The delegation presented gifts and warm blankets to students at Thong Nhat Primary School.

At the event, the Hai Phong City Youth Union presented a youth project, a "Community Playground," in Pac Lung hamlet, Ha Lang commune, worth 70 million VND; and provided funding for the construction of a "House of Compassion" in Ban Khu hamlet, Ha Lang commune, worth 150 million VND.

The delegation presented Tet gifts to poor households in Ha Lang commune.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026 (Year of the Horse), the delegation presented 50 Tet gifts to impoverished families in Ha Lang commune; donated 50 gifts and 50 warm blankets to students of Thong Nhat Primary School, with a total value of 100 million VND; and donated 4,500 notebooks, school supplies, warm clothes, etc.

Delegates inaugurated the youth project "Community Playground" in Pac Lung hamlet, Ha Lang commune.

The total value of funds raised for social welfare activities within the framework of the program reached over 725 million VND.

Delegates inaugurated the construction of the "House of Compassion" in Ban Khu hamlet, Ha Lang commune.

Within the framework of the program, the delegation also participated in exchanging experiences on practical models of youth union work and youth movements; cultural exchange between the Hai Phong City Youth Union and the Cao Bang Provincial Youth Union; and visited historical sites to learn about some historical and cultural relics in Cao Bang province.

This activity has practical significance in contributing to promoting the spirit of volunteerism, community service, and mutual support among the youth of Hai Phong.
