Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoai Anh has just signed and issued Decision No. 3723/QD-UBND on approving the allocation of additional budget estimates for tuition exemption and reduction for a number of educational institutions managed by the province.

The total estimated additional budget for this period is more than 23 billion VND from the education , training and vocational training expenditure source in the 2025 provincial budget estimate, supplementing five educational institutions managed by the province.

According to the decision, Thanh Hoa Industrial College was assigned an additional 7,639,760,000 VND; Nghi Son Vocational College was assigned 7,097,240,000 VND; Thanh Hoa College of Commerce and Tourism: 3,846,480,000 VND; Thanh Hoa Agricultural College: 2,672,690,000 VND; Hong Duc University: 1,830,949,000 VND.

In early September this year, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province also issued an official dispatch requesting urgent implementation of regulations on tuition policy, exemption, reduction, tuition support, support for learning costs and service prices in the field of education and training.

The Department of Education and Training is assigned to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Finance and relevant sectors and units to urgently issue detailed guidance documents and send them to the People's Committees of communes, wards, educational institutions in the province and relevant sectors and units, ensuring proper implementation of regulations from the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year regarding tuition policies, exemptions, reductions, tuition support, support for learning costs and service prices in the field of education and training; widely disseminate and propagate to students and learners, ensuring that policies are implemented promptly, synchronously and effectively.
