This was a well-deserved victory for U.19 Thanh Hoa. The young players played with discipline and a tight game plan, enduring pressure from SLNA throughout the first half but still defending very tenaciously. U.19 Thanh Hoa persistently clung to and blocked the spaces in front of the goal, preventing the Nghe An team from exploiting them. In addition, the excellent performance of goalkeeper Le Anh Tuan pushed back the waves created by SLNA. Thanks to their confidence and concentration, U.19 Thanh Hoa exploited the opponent's weaknesses. When SLNA's defense was high, U.19 Thanh Hoa launched a lightning counterattack. Ngoc My successfully took advantage of that almost unique opportunity at the beginning of the second half to bring glory to U.19 Thanh Hoa. Thus, for the first time in 26 years since winning the U.18 championship in 1997, the Thanh Hoa team has excellently won the championship. They also broke the "death and resurrection" curse when they only won a ticket in the qualifying round to go straight to the championship. Thanh Hoa football has a special relationship with Tay Ninh when in 2019 they also won the U.17 championship here.
Meanwhile, it was a pity for U.19 SLNA, who controlled the game flexibly but were unlucky in handling the ball, so they could not convert opportunities into goals. Quang Vinh and Van Bac played enthusiastically, but only those two players could not help SLNA rise when other positions were still confused and did not play effectively. Coach Nguyen Van Vinh kept shouting, but U.19 SLNA still wasted many good opportunities in front of Thanh Hoa's goal. After many meetings between the two teams at all levels, U.19 Thanh Hoa officially defeated SLNA. They also avenged the loss in the quarter-finals of U.19 in 2022 when they drew 0-0 and lost on penalties.
