On the morning of April 7th, the Hai Phong City Federation of Labor announced decisions on the establishment of the An Duong Ward Labor Union and personnel appointments for the Tien Lang Commune Labor Union.
At the conference, the City Federation of Labor announced the decision to establish the An Duong Ward Labor Union. Simultaneously, it assigned the management of 61 grassroots labor unions, 2,331 members, and all affiliated unions within the City Federation of Labor in An Duong and An Hai wards to the An Duong Ward Labor Union.
The City Federation of Labor also appointed the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and the positions of President, Vice President, and Inspection Committee of the An Duong Ward Labor Union, term I, 2026-2030.
Accordingly, Comrade Hoang Thi Thuan, Chairperson of the Trade Union of Tien Lang Commune, has been transferred and appointed to the position of Chairperson of the Trade Union of An Duong Ward. Comrade Ninh Thi Phuong Thao, specialist of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Duong Ward, has been appointed as Vice Chairperson of the Trade Union of An Duong Ward.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Huong, a specialist in the Trade Union Affairs Department of the Hai Phong City Federation of Labor, has been transferred to work at the Tien Lang Commune Trade Union; appointed to the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and to hold the position of President of the Tien Lang Commune Trade Union, term I, 2025 - 2030.
Speaking at the conferences, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city and Chairman of the City Federation of Labor, requested that the An Duong Ward Labor Union quickly stabilize its organization and focus on several key tasks such as developing union membership, establishing grassroots unions, and recommending outstanding union members and individuals for the Party to consider for admission. He also emphasized the importance of in-depth and practical care for the lives of union members and workers, starting with organizing activities during the 2026 Workers' Month. Furthermore, he expressed his hope that the leaders of An Duong and An Hai wards would create favorable conditions for the ward labor unions to operate effectively and make positive contributions to local development.
