In May, the Thanh Mien District Traffic Police Team penalized 187 cases of traffic safety violations, an increase of 92 cases and 428 million VND in fines compared to April. Of these, 16 cases violated the maximum alcohol concentration limit (exceeding 0.4 mg/liter of breath), with a fine of 140 million VND.
In addition, the authorities also fined 13 speeding violations and 2 red light violations with a total fine of 62 million VND. This is also a typical locality in the province in maintaining the form of fines for traffic violations.
In addition to patrolling, controlling and handling violations, the Thanh Mien District Traffic and Order Police Team also organized 3 sessions to disseminate the Road Traffic Law to 3,282 teachers and students in the area.
