Thanh Mien district traffic police force checks alcohol concentration on provincial road 392B

In the first month of implementing the peak period of ensuring security and order during the 2024 Lunar New Year (from December 15, 2023 to January 13, 2024), the traffic police force (Thanh Mien District Police) handled 171 cases of traffic violations, fined 540 million VND; 85 cases of driver's license revocation; and temporarily detained 54 vehicles.

Of which, the number of people violating alcohol concentration is still high with 44 cases, fined 144.4 million VND. 59 cases had their driving licenses revoked due to entering prohibited roads. 51 cases violated speed, not wearing helmets when participating in traffic. In addition to increasing patrols and handling violations on the roads, the Thanh Mien district traffic police force also organized 6 propaganda sessions, disseminating laws on traffic safety and order to 1,962 students and teachers at educational institutions in the area.
