The need to strengthen tourism promotion and advertising is becoming urgent in the context of Thanh Hoa aiming to enhance the image of its heritage on domestic and international media channels.

A large-scale, high-quality event not only contributes to spreading the unique cultural and historical values of Thanh Hoa but also creates a boost to attract tourists, expand market connections and increase tourism revenue.

Since its recognition, Thanh Hoa has implemented many conservation and infrastructure projects with a total heritage area of more than 5,078 hectares, including a core zone of 155.5 hectares and a buffer zone of more than 4,900 hectares.

Major projects include the restoration of the Citadel, the reinforcement of the citadel walls, and the archaeological excavation of more than 56,000 m², revealing many important historical and architectural values. In addition, propaganda and conservation training programs for the buffer zone community help people become the subjects of heritage protection.

The Ho Dynasty Citadel is developing strongly into a typical cultural tourism destination. Currently, the Center operates 4 sightseeing routes connecting the heritage with craft villages, temples and buffer zone landscapes, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.

In the 2021-2025 period, the heritage site will welcome more than 1 million visitors, including nearly 8,700 international visitors. Digital transformation, 3D interpretation, MAP GIS maps and digitization of artifacts will also be implemented.

With these achievements, Thanh Hoa hopes to turn Ho Dynasty Citadel into a leading cultural and heritage destination in Vietnam, while raising its position on the international tourism map.
