According to Resolution 151, Hue City is divided into 4 electoral districts. Electoral districts No. 1, 3, and 4 each elect 2 representatives (4 candidates); electoral district No. 2 elects 3 representatives (5 candidates). Election preparations have been carried out in accordance with regulations, ensuring the progress and requirements are met.
Across the country, 864 people are running for the 16th National Assembly in 182 constituencies. Voters will cast their ballots on March 15th to elect 500 representatives to the 16th National Assembly; the results are expected to be announced on March 22nd. The first session of the 16th National Assembly is scheduled to open on April 6th.
According to the published list, several prominent candidates from Hue City include: Central Committee member and Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung; Central Committee member and Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Trung; Central Committee member and Permanent Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate Nguyen Quoc Doan; Deputy Head of the Hue City National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Thi Suu; Associate Professor, Doctor, and lecturer at Hue University Vo Thanh Tung, along with several other outstanding candidates.
