At the conference, delegates focused on analyzing and evaluating the results of coordination between the Border Guard forces and local Party committees and authorities in the past; and exchanged and agreed on solutions to further improve the effectiveness of coordination in leading and directing the implementation of border defense tasks in the future.

The units signed the cooperation agreement.

Based on the agreed content, the Party Committee of the Border Guard Command and the Party Committees of the 12 border communes and wards signed a coordination regulation with the following key contents: Strengthening information exchange and close cooperation in carrying out border defense tasks; building a strong Border Guard force and a robust people's border defense system, meeting the requirements and tasks of building, managing, and protecting national territorial sovereignty and border security while promoting local socio-economic development; and promoting the dissemination of legal education and mobilizing the people to actively participate in self-governing models for protecting sovereignty, contributing to strengthening the grassroots political system.

In his directive speech, Comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung, Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee, emphasized: The signing of the coordination regulations is of great importance, creating a political and legal basis to strengthen the Party's leadership and promote the combined strength of the entire political system and the people in carrying out border defense tasks.
