Many people attending the discussion wondered about the name of this new work, Nguyen Vinh Nguyen explained: The structure of fog makes up Da Lat, in the morning looking down from above you can see layers of fog flying, Da Lat fog spreads from the ground up into layers like flying saucers; on the other hand, through each period the city has had mysterious stories that have not been solved, it can be likened to the cultural continent of Da Lat, so I named the new work City of Flying Continents .

The City of Flying Continents is a text undefined by stories and tales, regardless of historical and fictional, myth and truth; language freely intersects, blurring genre boundaries to convey an urban “form” beyond what the naked eye can see: a history of turbulent cultural continents, submerged and surfaced, hidden and revealed, definite and uncertain, simulated and true. In the end, like everything in life: yes and no. Da Lat is Da Lat. But Da Lat is also not Da Lat”, Nguyen Vinh Nguyen confided.

Journalist and poet Uong Thai Bieu was surprised and impressed that in less than 10 years, Nguyen Vinh Nguyen had 6 books written about Da Lat.

Writer Nhat Chieu commented: "A person or a city is someone we have known and have not known. Already and not yet. Whether we love or not. Because the immensity lies in things that seem very small. Rather, small is immensity. In this relatively short work is a vast life. Nguyen Vinh Nguyen appears this time with a spectacular new game beyond the expectations of many people."
