On December 6, the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) announced outstanding nominations for the Vietnam Smart City Award 2025.
Accordingly, Da Nang city was honored to be selected to receive awards in the following areas: Smart governance and management; Attractive innovative startups; Green environment - sustainable development.
Da Nang continues to be honored and awarded the Smart City Award by the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) in 2025.
In particular, the Final Selection Council also unanimously agreed to award the Smart City Award 2025 to Da Nang city.
This is the most prestigious and only award for the group of provinces and cities participating in this year's award.
The award ceremony is expected to be held on December 23 in Hanoi , with the participation of more than 1,500 delegates and smart city experts from countries in the region.
Previously, in 2024, Da Nang was also voted "Vietnam Smart City 2024" by the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association.
In recent years, Da Nang has been one of the leading localities in the country in applying artificial intelligence (AI) in public administration, providing digital services and building an innovation ecosystem.
The city has developed many operational platforms such as the Smart Urban Operations Center system, big data analysis platform, traffic - environment - security monitoring system using AI, contributing to improving work processing efficiency, reducing public service delivery time and supporting forecasting and early warning in many fields.
