
'Touch' payment makes shopping season exciting with NAPAS, Mastercard and Payoo
Widespread promotions, aimed at peak season
On December 1, joining the bustling shopping atmosphere at the end of the year, Vietnam National Payment Corporation (NAPAS) cooperated with Mastercard and the Payoo payment platform to launch the program "Touch now - Deal passionately" at more than 5,500 points of sale nationwide, with a promotional budget of more than 14 billion VND.
The campaign was launched in the context of continued strong growth in cashless payments. According to statistics from the State Bank, in the first 9 months of 2025, the total number of cashless payment transactions increased by 43.3% in quantity and 24.2% in value compared to the same period last year.
The "Touch Now - Deals" program will be implemented from November 2025 to the end of the first quarter of 2026, coinciding with peak shopping seasons such as Black Friday, Christmas, New Year's Day and Lunar New Year.
Accordingly, NAPAS and Mastercard cardholders are entitled to a 15% discount or a direct discount of a certain amount, up to a maximum of VND 200,000 per transaction, depending on the point of sale.
Not only focusing on large shopping malls, the program also extends to a series of retail, consumer and service chains, from supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, pharmacies to technology stores.

Expanding payment "touch points" nationwide
Mr. Nguyen Dang Hung, Deputy General Director of NAPAS shared: In order to meet the increasing demand for electronic payments of the people, in the role of a national retail payment infrastructure provider, NAPAS has coordinated and deployed modern and convenient domestic card products to bring a simple and easy "touch" payment experience to customers. In particular, NAPAS also regularly offers attractive incentives to cardholders through cooperation programs with members and partners.
"With the campaign "Touch now - Deal passionately", NAPAS hopes to continue to create payment "touch points" across the country, contributing to promoting cashless payments and building a sustainable digital economy ," said Deputy General Director Nguyen Dang Hung.
This year is the third consecutive year that NAPAS, Mastercard and Payoo have launched a nationwide promotion program to stimulate shopping, while continuing the social security journey called "Touch and share - Give hope".
The program aims to provide free cancer screening for 2,010 disadvantaged women in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi , thereby contributing to raising public awareness of health care.
Specifically, attractive promotional programs for the year-end shopping season are currently being implemented, including: 15% discount up to 100,000 VND at AEON Mall on Black Friday, Christmas and January 2026; 15% discount up to 50,000 VND at: Gong Cha, McDonald's, Ministop, AEON Citimart, TH true mart, FamilyMart; 15% discount up to 200,000 VND at FPT Shop; 200,000 VND discount for bills from 1 million VND at Haidilao.
