Government Inspectorate holds talks with high-ranking delegation of Lao State Inspectorate

Speaking at the reception, expressing his honor and joy to welcome the delegation to visit and work in Vietnam, Inspector General of the Government of Vietnam Doan Hong Phong emphasized that the visit and work of comrade Khamphan Phommathat and the delegation to Vietnam is an important milestone, a vivid manifestation of the good cooperative and friendly relationship between the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam and the State Inspectorate of Laos over the past many years.

Inspector General Doan Hong Phong affirmed that the visit is a valuable opportunity for both sides to implement the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation signed between the two agencies in 2022; to discuss, exchange experiences and good practices in directing and operating inspection, examination, citizen reception, handling complaints and denunciations, and preventing and combating corruption and negativity. Thereby contributing to building an increasingly clean and strong Party, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of State management, promoting good management, promoting effective prevention and combating of corruption, thereby promoting sustainable economic development and promoting social progress in each country.

Inspector General of the Government of Vietnam Doan Hong Phong expressed his deep belief that the good and effective friendly cooperation between the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam and the State Inspectorate of Laos has been and will continue to contribute to promoting the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.

Speaking at the reception, on behalf of the Lao State Inspectorate's high-ranking delegation, comrade Khamphan Phommathat thanked the Vietnamese Government Inspectorate for its thoughtful and respectful reception for the Lao State Inspectorate's high-ranking delegation.

Comrade Khamphan Phommathat completely agreed with the opinion of the Inspector General of the Government of Vietnam, this is a valuable opportunity for the two agencies to exchange experiences in managing the activities of the Inspectorate and other tasks. At the same time, he emphasized that the High-level Talks between the two agencies are an opportunity as well as an important occasion to implement the content of the cooperation minutes signed between the two agencies.

At the talks, the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam and the State Inspectorate of Laos exchanged and introduced the general socio-economic situation of the two countries; some outstanding results and experiences in directing and operating inspection work, receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations, and preventing and combating corruption and negativity in the past time and directions and tasks in the coming time. The two sides also shared experiences in leading, directing and operating inspection work, receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations, and preventing and combating corruption.
