Mr. Wulf Gallert, co-head of the Foreign Relations Department of the German Left Party (Die Linke), made this statement in an interview with a VNA reporter in Germany, ahead of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam .

Emphasizing the importance of the upcoming 14th National Congress, he noted that it is a political event of special significance. In the context of many international changes, the Congress is expected to make new decisions, strongly promote economic development, and improve organizational work. Looking ahead, he believes that maintaining a broad discussion process, listening to opinions from all sectors of society, especially those who directly create value for society, will be key to Vietnam achieving even greater success. On behalf of the German Left Party, Mr. Wulf Gallert extended his best wishes to the 14th National Congress.

Sharing his views on the current international situation, Mr. Wulf Gallert expressed concern that the world is now facing many dangerous precedents, from armed conflicts to economic wars, creating an unfavorable environment for countries that always uphold free trade and common rules, such as Germany and Vietnam. According to him, strengthening cooperation between the two sides is necessary to find solutions to current challenges and to strive for a peaceful, developed world that adheres to international law and the UN Charter.

Expressing pride in the long-standing traditional friendship between the two Parties, cultivated over decades, co-Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Department Wulf Gallert emphasized that the relationship between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the German Left Party is currently in a very positive stage of development, with unprecedentedly close contacts. Despite the geographical distance, the two Parties always find common ground in facing and addressing the common challenges of the times. He hoped that both sides would continue to maintain close exchange mechanisms, thereby strengthening the friendly relationship based on the common interests of the people of both countries.
