The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has appointed and transferred 9 leaders from departments, agencies, and communes/wards.

To streamline personnel management after the merger, Ho Chi Minh City continues to reassign and appoint 9 leaders at the departmental, sectoral, and commune/ward levels.

On the afternoon of November 17th, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a conference to announce personnel decisions. Mr. Le Quoc Phong, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, chaired the conference.

At the conference, the City Party Committee's Organizing Committee announced decisions on personnel transfers and appointments for nine officials.

Mr. Pham Thanh Chung , a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Department of Internal Affairs, has been transferred to the position of Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Organization Department.

Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Phuoc Thang Ward, has been transferred and appointed to the Executive Committee and Standing Committee, and to the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Le Van Chien , Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Vinh Hoi Ward, has been transferred to work at the Party Committee of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to be received and carry out personnel work according to regulations.

Ms. Luong Thi Le Hang , City Party Committee member and Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, has been transferred and appointed to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and as Secretary of the Party Committee of Vinh Hoi Ward.

Mr. Le Tan Ban , Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Vung Tau Ward, has been transferred and appointed to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and as Secretary of Phuoc Thang Ward.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung , Head of the Infrastructure and Technical Planning Department of the Department of Planning and Architecture, participates in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee and holds the position of Deputy Secretary of Dong Hung Thuan Ward.

Mr. Le Ngoc Han , Director of the General Science Library, Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, has been transferred and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of Khanh Hoi Ward.

Mr. Le Nguyen Khoi, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Thoi Hoa Ward Party Committee, has been transferred to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Long Nguyen Ward Party Committee.

Mr. Tran Tuan Anh , Permanent Deputy Secretary of Long Nguyen Ward, has been appointed to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Thoi Hoa Ward.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Le Quoc Phong, congratulated the officials who were transferred and appointed.

Mr. Phong stated that the rotation of positions and the assignment of officials to grassroots levels demonstrate the concern of Ho Chi Minh City's leaders. At the same time, going to grassroots levels is also an opportunity for officials to train, dedicate themselves, and contribute to the city's development.

Later that same day, at the conference to study and understand the resolution of the first Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress (2025-2030), the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee announced decisions on personnel matters.

The conference announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee to transfer and appoint Mr. Vo Van Dung , Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee, to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and to serve as Secretary of the Party Committee of Vung Tau Ward.

The Secretariat of the Central Committee has approved the appointment of Mr. Duong Trong Hieu , Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee's Organization Department, to the position of Chairman of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
