Removing difficulties and obstacles in site clearance

Comrade Vu Tien Phung, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee spoke at the working session with leaders of Nguyen Dai Nang, Bac An Phu and Kinh Mon wards.

On the morning of November 12, comrade Vu Tien Phung, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee inspected the progress of site clearance for a number of key projects and the operation of two-level local government in the wards of Kinh Mon, Nguyen Dai Nang, and Bac An Phu.

According to the report of the People's Committee of Bac An Phu Ward, the Project to invest in the construction of the Van road and bridge connecting National Highway 37 with the approach road to Trieu Bridge through the ward has completed 0.9 km/1.6 km. Up to now, there are 14 households whose land has been recovered for the project but have not yet handed over the site.

For the Investment Project to build a road connecting National Highway 17B with Provincial Road 352 through Nguyen Dai Nang Ward with a length of 5.44km, the ward has approved the compensation plan for 6 households with agricultural land; site clearance for 43 households has not been completed. For 17 households eligible for resettlement, the ward has arranged 2 resettlement locations.

Two projects are also being implemented in the ward. The project to invest in the construction of technical infrastructure for residential areas and resettlement areas in Minh Hoa commune (now Nguyen Dai Nang ward), with a scale of 2 hectares and a total investment of 39.6 billion VND. The project is being submitted for appraisal of construction design and implementation after the basic design and site clearance. The project for residential areas and resettlement areas in Cua Lang, Hien Thanh ward, old Kinh Mon town, now Nguyen Dai Nang ward, with a scale of 3.79 hectares and a total investment of 25.021 billion VND, has selected a construction unit and is organizing site clearance. It is expected that the infrastructure will be implemented before November 20.

In the project to build a traffic route connecting National Highway 17B with Dinh Bridge through Kinh Mon Ward, there is still one household with agricultural land that has not signed to receive compensation for site clearance...

After more than 4 months of the 2-level local government coming into operation, the wards of Kinh Mon, Nguyen Dai Nang, and Bac An Phu quickly organized and rearranged their apparatus, consolidated their staff, civil servants, and public employees, and made efforts to overcome difficulties, basically meeting the requirements of their tasks. The rate of handling administrative procedures correctly and before the deadline of the localities all reached more than 99%...

After listening to the report and inspecting some key projects and the Public Administration Service Centers of the wards, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Vu Tien Phung emphasized that localities continue to direct and implement each task and solution set out resolutely and effectively. Urgently coordinate with relevant units to speed up the progress of site clearance for key projects and works. Focus on removing difficulties for projects that are still stuck in site clearance.

Departments and branches strengthen coordination and support localities and units in disbursing public investment capital, site clearance; operating two-level local government. Wards overcome difficulties in operating two-level local government, perform well professional tasks; complete facilities and equipment to serve local activities.
