Four people were arrested after the act, which was claimed by a civil resistance group calling itself Take Back Power. The group said they used apple pie crumbs and custard to pelt glass cases protecting state treasures.
In the video , one protester can be seen smashing a foil tray of apple pie crumbs against the protective glass, while another repeatedly dumps a carton of bright yellow custard onto the front of the fridge.

Police confirmed they were called to the Tower of London at 9:48am on Saturday following reports of vandalism to a display case.
Take Back Power, which describes itself as a non-violent civil resistance group, says its aim is to protest against severe inequality in the UK.
According to police, four protesters threw food at the display case before two left the scene. Police coordinated with police and security personnel, and four people were arrested on suspicion of property damage and are in custody.
Police and the Tower of London confirmed that only the Jewel House, where the crown is on display, was closed. The area reopened later that afternoon. They confirmed that the crown jewels were "undamaged".
The crown is typically worn by the head of the British royal family at the end of a coronation or during formal ceremonial events. King Charles III wore the crown at his coronation in 2023, and it was also placed on the coffin of Queen Elizabeth II during her state funeral at Westminster Abbey.
