Teacher inspires passion for Physics in students

With passion, love for the profession and love for students, over the years, teacher Le Huu Viet, Vinh Tuong Secondary School, Vinh Tuong commune, Phu Tho province has always devoted himself to passing on his passion for learning Physics to many generations of his students.

Teacher Le Huu Viet always focuses on designing lessons and applying information technology to lessons, helping students love Physics.

Born and raised in the countryside of Binh Duong commune, Vinh Tuong district, Vinh Phuc province (now Vinh Tuong commune, Phu Tho province), since he was a student, teacher Le Huu Viet has cherished the dream of becoming a teacher to stand on the podium to spread the passion for Physics.

After graduating from high school, Mr. Viet determinedly studied and passed the entrance exam to the Faculty of Physics - Technology, Vinh Phuc Pedagogical College. In 2007, after graduating, he was assigned to teach at Song Lo Secondary School; in 2014, he transferred to Vinh Tuong Secondary School until now.

Each Physics class of Mr. Viet is always special, he always finds new ways to teach to bring passion and excitement to students. Through stories and phenomena in life, he skillfully guides students to the lesson so that they can approach knowledge in the most natural, proactive and understandable way.

Mr. Le Huu Viet shared that Physics is a rather dry experimental science , so in the teaching process, teachers need to not only impart knowledge, but also inspire students. Lectures must be linked to reality, with methods to help students understand how the knowledge content is applied in practice. In particular, he focuses on applying information technology, promoting virtual experiments through simulations... From there, it is possible to create interest for students, helping them to be more enthusiastic and love Physics.

During the teaching process, he always creates conditions for students to proactively propose practice lessons. Thanks to the scientific teaching method and humorous communication style, Mr. Viet's Physics lectures are no longer dry but become attractive, stimulating students to study enthusiastically. Therefore, he is trusted by the leaders of Vinh Tuong Secondary School to be responsible for training excellent Physics students in grades 8 and 9.

Unlike mass teaching, here, Mr. Viet guided students on how to find knowledge, exploit and apply it, do exercises, read books, find documents, generalize an exercise, and review for exams. During nearly 20 years of work, he has guided and trained 673 excellent students in Physics, of which 5 students were excellent at the national level, 232 students at the provincial level, 436 students at the old district level... Many students won high prizes in exams at all levels: Cao Dac Hai Dang and Phi Manh Hung won the Gold Medal at the National Physics Olympiad in 2017, Nguyen Ha Anh and Nguyen Van Tuan won the First Prize at the provincial level in Physics in 2025...

Mr. Viet said that in order to nurture excellent students as well as teach ordinary students, he focuses on training thinking ability and building appropriate learning methods for students; always being close to students, grasping their learning ability, thoughts and aspirations to come up with appropriate teaching methods and spending time on self-study, improving skills and expertise, finding effective teaching methods suitable for each student; paying attention to moral education and life skills for students, flexibly applying knowledge trained in positive education through class hours, class activities or extracurricular activities, parent meetings.

In addition to teaching, Mr. Viet is also passionate about research and building scientific topics to serve professional work. Many of his topics and initiatives have been applied and replicated throughout the province. The Council of Initiatives at the grassroots level has recognized: "The method of voltage in resistor bridge circuits and circuits containing power sources", "Methods of solving experimental exercises", "Applying voltage at any two points in the circuit to solve Electricity exercises used to train excellent students in Physics grade 9"...

After nearly 20 years of dedication to his profession, Mr. Viet has achieved many achievements such as being awarded the title of excellent teacher at the provincial and district levels 8 times, receiving a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister in 2017, a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training in 2012 and 2020, receiving a Certificate of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee for 6 years, and many noble awards from all levels and sectors.

In 2022, Mr. Viet was honored to receive the Third Class Labor Medal from the President for his contributions to education and training in Vinh Phuc province in the period 1982-2022. In October 2025, he was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the People's Committee of Phu Tho province for his outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement in the period 2020-2025.
