I. NAME - SCOPE OF ORGANIZATION
- Contest name: Happy Tet
- Format: Photo and video contest on a digital platform
- Scope of organization: Domestic and international
II. PURPOSE - SIGNIFICANCE
1. To celebrate the beauty of Vietnam and its people during the Lunar New Year - a sacred time of reunion, love, and hope.
2. Capture authentic, emotionally rich moments of a peaceful, warm, and happy Vietnam, from cities to rural areas, from within the country to Vietnamese communities abroad.
3. To spread the image of a happy Vietnam to the world , and at the same time, to allow every Vietnamese person to see and feel their own happiness in their daily lives.
III. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Vietnamese citizens and foreigners, residing in Vietnam or abroad, aged 15 and above are eligible to participate (excluding members of the Organizing Committee and the Judging Panel).
IV. CONTENT OF THE WORK
- The atmosphere of Lunar New Year in Vietnam and among Vietnamese communities abroad.
- The natural beauty, culture, Tet customs, daily life, and work of the Vietnamese people.
- Simple yet emotionally rich moments about family, community, sharing, love, and hope.
- The artwork should convey a positive, humane message, contributing to affirming Vietnam as a happy country.
V. REQUIREMENTS FOR THE WORK
1. General regulations
- Submitted works must be original creations by the author and must not infringe on copyright.
- The work was created between February 10, 2026 and March 10, 2026.
- The content does not violate Vietnamese law, does not go against Vietnamese customs and traditions, and does not contain offensive or provocative elements.
- The Organizing Committee has the right to use the submitted entries free of charge for the purpose of promoting and publicizing the Happy Vietnam program.
2. For the photo category
- Submitted photos must be single images or photo sets in digital format, specifically JPG files. The minimum size of the shortest dimension is 3,000 pixels.
- Each author may submit an unlimited number of entries (both single photos and photo sets). The author's name will be as it appears on their national identity card or passport.
+ Single photos: Each photo is a work of art.
+ Photo series: Each photo series is considered a work of art, consisting of a minimum of 5 photos and a maximum of 10 photos. The Organizing Committee encourages photo series to include a layout and a brief introduction to the series' content (maximum 150 words). The author must number the photo series sequentially.
+ In cases where the author submits both single photos and photo sets, the single photos must not be duplicates of photos in the photo sets.
- Photos must not have borders and must not display information such as names, watermarks, or place names…
- Photographic works must be created using realistic methods; cropped, manipulated, or altered images that distort reality are not accepted (except for panorama photographs).
3. For the video category
- Submitted videos must be in digital format, specifically MP4 files. Video quality must be at least Full HD or higher. Each video should be no longer than 5 minutes and the file size must not exceed 500MB.
- Each author may submit an unlimited number of entries. The author's name or the name of the group of authors should be taken from the name on their citizen identification card or passport.
- Submitted videos can be in the following genres: news reports, documentaries, short videos, skits, etc., and can be recorded using any device that supports video recording.
- The content and storyline are clear and consistent with the award's message and theme. The video is an original media product, copyrighted by the author, and not copied from any source without permission regarding image, sound, and dialogue copyright.
- The individuals appearing in the video must have the consent of the person or their guardian.

VII. JUDGING AND VOTING METHODS
- The contest results will be determined based on the reach of the artwork through:
+ Number of Likes
+ Number of Shares
- The Organizing Committee will have specific regulations on how points will be calculated and measures to ensure transparency and fairness.
- Any instances of interactive cheating, if detected, will result in disqualification from the competition.
VIII. TIME OF ORGANIZATION
- Submission period: From February 10th to March 10th, 2026.
- Voting period: From February 10th to March 10th, 2026.
- Announcement of results and award ceremony: Second quarter of 2026.
IX. AWARD STRUCTURE
Each competition category (photos and videos) has the following prizes and prize values:
- 1st Prize: 1 Terra football, 1 Vietnam National Football Team jersey (Player version), 1 football signed by Coach Kim Sang-sik and the team;
- 1st Prize: 1 football signed by Coach Kim Sang-sik and the team, 1 set of Suvec Vietnam National Football Team merchandise;
- 1st Prize (Third Prize): 1 football signed by Coach Kim Sang-sik and the team, and a Vietnam National Football Team sports backpack;
- 02 Consolation Prizes: 01 football signed by Coach Kim Sang-sik and the team, Polo shirt of the Vietnam National Football Team players;
- 5 special "Happy Spring Trip" prizes for 5 authors (each prize is a Spring Trip for 2 people). With this prize, the winning authors will participate in the "Happy Spring Trip" itinerary with the following activities:
Day 1: Touching Happiness Amidst the Sacred Mountains of Yen Tu:
05:50: Guests gather at Ngoc Son Temple and board the bus to participate in the "Happy Spring Trip - 1 journey, 2 heritage sites" tour in Ha Long, Quang Ninh.
8:30 AM: Upon arriving at the Yen Tu scenic area, guests will participate in a mountain climbing journey to reach happiness, passing by Giai Oan Stream, Hoa Yen Pagoda, Mot Mai Pagoda, Hue Quang Stupa… before arriving at Dong Pagoda on the sacred peak of Yen Tu.
Lunch: Guests will descend to the foot of the mountain and have lunch at Lang Nuong Village.
Afternoon: Attend the Spring Prayer Ceremony led by the local Zen masters (Schedule to be announced later).
After attending the ceremony, guests will travel to Ha Long, Quang Ninh.
Evening: Guests will attend a dinner party at Dragon Pearl Cave, then return to the hotel to check in, rest, and have free time for sightseeing.
Day 2 : A Happy Voyage
Morning: You will embark on a cruise to explore "Ha Long Bay" - Experience happiness amidst the stunning natural beauty of Ha Long Bay.
8:15-9:00 AM: Guests check in at Ha Long International Cruise Port and board the ship.
9:00 AM - 11:30 AM: The cruise ship departs. The tour guide will take you to explore the beauty of Sung Sot Cave - one of the most beautiful caves in the bay.
11:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Guests will travel to visit the paradise island of Titop, with its crystal-clear waters and mountain climbing to admire the panoramic view of Ha Long Bay. Here, guests will have time to take photos together, capturing happy moments with the stunning scenery of their trip.
12:30-1:30 PM: Enjoy a superb lunch at the restaurant on the cruise ship.
13:45-14:45: Guests can choose to participate in a tour exploring Luon Cave by boat (Nam boat) or kayak. This is one of the most picturesque and popular tourist attractions.
3:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Guests continue to explore the bay and enjoy the services on the cruise ship.
4:00 PM: The cruise ship docks. The "Happy Cruise" concludes. Afterwards, board the vehicle to return to the original pick-up point in Hanoi.
- The winning work meets one of the following criteria:
+ The work with the highest number of likes
+ The work with the highest number of shares
+ The work with the most comments
+ The author who submitted the most works
The author captured the most locations.
- Entries submitted for the Happy Tet contest will be considered for the Happy Vietnam 2026 competition.
Winning entries will receive prizes, certificates, widespread media coverage within the framework of the Happy Vietnam program, and will be considered for the Happy Vietnam 2026 competition.
X. ENFORCEMENT CLAUSES
- By submitting an entry, the author agrees to all the rules of the competition.
- The Organizing Committee reserves the right to adjust or supplement the regulations as needed and will announce the changes publicly.
- The Organizing Committee's decision is final.
