On the afternoon of December 1, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - Hai Phong City Relief Mobilization Committee continued to receive funds to support people affected by natural disasters from organizations and units in the city.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Tuan, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee chaired the reception.

Organizations and units donating funds include: People, cadres and party members of Gia Vien ward donated more than 1 billion VND and 5,100 Canadian dollars; Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Lao commune donated 500 million VND and 20 tons of rice; Hai Phong University donated more than 322 million VND; Cat Hai special zone donated 250 million VND; Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Hoa commune donated 150 million VND; To Hieu Political School donated 37 million VND...

As of 7 p.m. on November 30, 6,501 groups and individuals had supported the people of the Central Highlands and Central Vietnam affected by floods with a total amount of over 10.6 billion VND. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - City Relief Mobilization Committee received and transported more than 70 tons of goods to support Dak Lak province.

Last week, the Hai Phong Red Cross Society received and coordinated relief goods donated by many businesses, organizations, individuals and volunteer clubs in the city; organized groups to directly provide relief to local people in flood-affected areas.

Specifically, the association received and coordinated 40 tons of rice, instant noodles, cooking oil, fish sauce and salt from An Khanh commune to be transported to Dak Lak via Cao Linh Worship Facility's cargo vehicle; received and transferred 7,200 bottles of mineral water from organizations and individuals sponsored by the Hai Phong Football Supporters Association's cargo vehicle; received and coordinated 7 tons of rice, instant noodles and necessities from Gia Vien ward, Viet Khe commune and benefactors to be transported to Dak Lak via cargo vehicles of several volunteer units.
