With a spirit of enthusiastic emulation, in recent years, the armed forces of Da Lat City have effectively implemented the emulation and reward work (TĐKT) and the Emulation Movement for Victory (TĐQT). Thanks to that, the city's armed forces have been constantly consolidated and enhanced their comprehensive strength, worthy of being the core and trusted force of the Party Committee and local authorities in the task of maintaining political security, social order and safety, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.

• BUILDING A STRONG AND COMPREHENSIVE FORCE
One of the top goals of the TDQT Movement is to contribute to building agencies and units that are strong in politics, ideology, organization, ethics and cadres. Therefore, the Da Lat City Military Region always focuses on studying and thoroughly grasping the directives and resolutions of the Party at all levels as well as educating, propagating and orienting the ideology of cadres and soldiers. Thanks to that, the cadres and soldiers of the unit always have a firm political stance, a high spirit of revolutionary vigilance, proactively fighting against the plots and tricks of " peaceful evolution" of hostile forces, contributing to maintaining the ideological position in the locality.
Along with that, according to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Manh Thuong - Political Commissar of the Military Command (CHQS) of Da Lat City, the leadership capacity, fighting strength and quality of activities of Party organizations have also been improved. The models of building "3 best" units, "5 good Party cells, 5 good Party members", "cadres and Party members guiding the masses and subordinates" ... have contributed to creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere, helping cadres and soldiers promote their sense of responsibility, improve their ability to perform all tasks well. The work of developing new Party members in the forces has received attention from Party committees at all levels and always exceeded the set targets.
In particular, the security protection work has always been comprehensively and regularly deployed by the City Military Command, aiming to build a safe unit associated with a safe area. In addition, the proactiveness of the City Military in mass mobilization activities, building the rear, visiting and supporting policy families, the poor... has also contributed to strengthening the people's trust, helping to maintain political stability and social security in the locality.
From the TDQT Movement, many typical collectives have emerged such as the Political Committee/City Military Command Committee, Ward 2 Military Command Committee, Ward 5 Military Command Committee...; typical advanced individuals such as Major Nguyen Trung Kien (Political Committee), comrade Pham Thanh Vien (Political Commissar of Ward 2 Military Command Committee)...
• COMPLETE ALL TASKS EXCELLENTLY
The TĐQT movement is also a great driving force, encouraging cadres and soldiers to rise up, overcome difficulties, and complete all assigned tasks well and excellently. In carrying out the tasks of training, combat readiness (SSCD) and ensuring political security, social order and safety in the locality, the city's military always proactively grasps and strictly implements the directives, orders and plans of the Ministry of National Defense, superiors, the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee. The emulation activities of "training", "good training, strict discipline, high SSCD", "overcoming the sun and rain to practice enthusiastically" are always carried out effectively and practically. Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Manh Thuong said: "The city's military has successfully organized 17 defense drills at all levels; participated in 32 competitions and sports events at all levels and always achieved high results".
In addition, the city's armed forces regularly coordinate with other forces to ensure security and order in the locality. During the period of 2019 - 2024, Da Lat's armed forces conducted more than 8,600 independent patrols, coordinated more than 12,300 patrols; sent more than 30,000 officers to participate in the fight against the epidemic, and mobilized the purchase of more than 650 tons of agricultural products to support people in the epidemic area.
On the other hand, the Da Lat City Military Command also actively advised the local Party Committee and authorities on the work of selecting, calling citizens to join the army, and handing over the army... Thanks to that, the quantity and quality of young people joining the army exceeded the set targets. Specifically, in terms of quantity, in 2020 it exceeded 1.5% (137/135), in 2023 it exceeded 3.6% (145/140), and in 2024 it exceeded 0.69% (146/145). "From 2019 to now, there have been 89 candidates admitted to military academies and schools, the admission rate compared to the registration for the exam fluctuates annually from 25% to 42.8% - one of the few units with outstanding achievements in military recruitment in the provincial military command, highly appreciated by the provincial Military Command", said Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Manh Thuong.
These efforts and struggles have helped the Da Lat City Military Command become increasingly strong and comprehensive, always excellently completing all assigned tasks. According to the assessment of the Provincial Military Command, the Da Lat City Military Command is one of the typical units, effectively implementing the International Movement, period 2019 - 2024. In 2020 and 2023 alone, the City Military Command was honored to receive the Emulation Flag of an excellent unit in the International Movement from the Military Region 7 Command.
To maintain and promote the achieved results, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Manh Thuong said: In the coming time, in addition to thoroughly overcoming weaknesses and weak points, the Da Lat City Military Command will continue to promote emulation movements, closely following the Party building work, identifying this as a key task, deciding to successfully carry out all tasks. On that basis, in each stage, each year, the contents, targets and emulation measures must be close to the requirements, political tasks and practical situations of the unit and locality. In addition, the Party Committee and the City Military Command always focus on building, fostering, praising and replicating advanced models and examples, contributing to promoting the movement to continue to go into depth and substance, creating comprehensive changes in all aspects.
