National High School Excellent Student Exam: Unusual incidents must be reported immediately by phone

(NLDO) - The national high school excellent student exam for the 2025-2026 school year will take place on December 25 and 26, 2025 with many new points.

The Ministry of Education and Training has just announced detailed regulations and exam schedule for the national high school excellent student exam for the 2025-2026 school year with many new points.

Accordingly, the specific exam schedule is as follows: On December 25, 2025: Written exams in math, physics, chemistry, biology, literature, history, geography, English, Russian, French, Chinese, Japanese and computer programming exam for information technology.

December 26, 2025: Written exams in math, physics, chemistry, biology; Speaking exams in English, Russian, French, Chinese, Japanese and computer programming exam for information technology.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the exam questions will be transferred through the Government Cipher Committee's system; the reception and printing of exam questions will be carried out according to the Ministry of Education and Training's instructions sent to the units before December 15, 2025. In case of having to use the reserve exam questions, the Ministry of Education and Training will decide and announce the exam schedule and provide instructions on the use of the reserve exam questions.

The Ministry of Education and Training has separate regulations for organizing exams for excellent students in IT and foreign languages.

Before December 16, 2025, the Ministry of Education and Training will notify the exam units about the organization of exam councils and the mobilization of personnel to participate in the exam councils.

For the IT and foreign language exams, the Ministry of Education and Training stipulates that the IT exam supervisors are lecturers and teachers who are teaching IT; the foreign language exam supervisors are lecturers and teachers who are teaching foreign languages. To ensure timely handling of situations that arise during the foreign language exam, each exam room has at least one supervisor who is a lecturer or teacher who is teaching or understands the foreign language subject of that exam room.

15 days before the exam date, if the exam papers and exam bags have not been received, the exam unit where the exam council is located must contact the Ministry of Education and Training through the Department of Quality Management for timely handling. The exam unit where the exam council is located must prepare a full backup power source to ensure capacity and voltage, and a backup Internet line that works well to serve the exam organization.

The Ministry of Education and Training also stipulates the opening of the examination council on December 24, 2025. On this day, the units will hold a meeting of the examination council. Gather candidates to disseminate the examination regulations and documents related to the exam. Regulations on the responsibilities of candidates; regulations on documents and items candidates are allowed to bring into the examination room; list of candidates in the examination room. Organize candidates to take a mock speaking test in foreign languages, the mock test must be completed before 4:00 p.m. The units will prepare the speaking test for candidates to take a mock test or for candidates to introduce themselves.
