On July 18, the Literature and Arts Times, the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, in coordination with relevant units, launched the Logo Design Contest for the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front , Central Mass Organizations, and the Logo for the First Congress of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front , Central Mass Organizations, term 2025-2030.
Targeting all Vietnamese citizens at home and abroad of all ages and professions, the contest requires all entries to meet political tasks, serve propaganda work, and promote the image of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations.
In addition, the authors must demonstrate the political identity, Party spirit, and spirit of great national unity; the logo must be representative, inclusive, modern, and friendly of the Front system and central organizations; conveying the message: Solidarity-Democracy-Consensus-Development.
In addition, the general requirements for works are to ensure clear Party and political character; representativeness and inclusiveness; unity in diversity in a flexible manner.
Regarding the design, the main color of the contest logo must be bright red (symbol of the Party, revolutionary ideals, enthusiasm); yellow (representing intelligence, faith and development); green (symbolizing vitality, people) and blue (peace, collective intelligence) can be added. The logo uses a circle or lotus/bird petal shape to create a sense of unity, embrace, and protection; avoid using sharp, pointed shapes that create a sense of division...
The logo must convey the spirit of great national unity; the Party's leadership role over the Front-mass organizations; the unity of will and action for the goal: Rich people, strong country, democracy, fairness, civilization.
The judging council was established by the decision of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations; it consists of artists and experts in the field of painting, with prestige, responsibility and high expertise; and the judging was by secret ballot.
The Organizing Committee will award certificates and accompanying prizes; the prize structure includes: one first prize worth 30 million VND; 5 consolation prizes, each worth 5 million VND.
Contest entries should be sent to the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, 51 Tran Hung Dao (Hoan Kiem Ward, Hanoi) from now until August 18.
