Cua Lo town focuses on urban beautification to prepare for tourist season

Of which, the project to build a sea dike with a total construction investment length of 4.3km is one of the important projects. Currently, the construction is facing some difficulties due to strong waves hitting the shore frequently, making it impossible for machinery and workers to work continuously. During the stormy season of previous years, the sea dike system in Cua Lo town was severely damaged, so the work of repairing and constructing a new dike encountered many difficulties. However, the workers working on this project still made great efforts to overcome difficulties to bring this project to the finish line on schedule. This route has an investment scope of more than 7.5km in length with a total cost of 310 billion VND. In 2023, the town welcomed over 3.6 million visitors, of which the number of overnight visitors was estimated at 1.256 million, revenue from tourism activities reached 3,562 billion VND, reaching 100.03% of the yearly plan, up 10.6% over the same period, creating jobs for thousands of workers, contributing to increasing income and improving people's lives.
