The tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan in Dong Tranh Mountain (Nam Giang Commune, Nam Dan District, Nghe An), belongs to the special national relic of President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site. The 9-storey waterfall project in the tomb area was started in March 2024 to pay tribute to the birth and upbringing of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan - the mother who gave birth to President Ho Chi Minh, while gradually completing the overall landscape, increasing the attractiveness for tourists to visit and visit the tomb; contributing to the propagandaand education of patriotic traditions and national pride, especially for the younger generation.

According to information from the special national relic of President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site, the 9-storey Waterfall area is derived from a small stream that has long flowed from the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan and the tomb of Nguyen Sinh Xin (the youngest brother of President Ho Chi Minh). This area has a basin terrain. The water flows into the lake, gently and continuously through 9 steps that have been stylized with 9 lakes like the flow of milk and the abundant love of a mother.

Each item of the project is inspired by simple objects, close to the life of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan and Vietnamese women in the 19th century such as mirrors, turbans, lotus flowers, wells, village gates... creating a peaceful picture; evoking a journey to find historical memories.

The project has 3 main categories: Central lake area; Stream and waterfall area and Walking path area.

The central area has a large lake with a diameter of 21m, stylized as a well or a mirror; The circular border surrounding the lake resembles the headscarf of women in the past. The bottom of the lake is decorated with stylized lotus leaf motifs, creating a background for 9 golden lotuses, creating a highlight for the central area. The semicircular courtyard has an area of 280m2, with a capacity of about 300 people. The arched gate is stylized according to the ancient village gate, opening up an airy, open space that brings good things. The gate faces the homeland of Hoang Tru, Lang Sen.

Stream and waterfall area: Includes stone stream and 8 small water tanks with a total stream length of about 100m, the water source flows naturally into the stream.

Walking area: Helps visitors go through different landscape spaces, from here visitors can watch the water flow from the mirror lake down to Uyen Ho (Cu Thuy lake) in the space of Dong Tranh mountain forest.

The project was approved with a total investment of more than 34 billion VND, funded by T&T Group Joint Stock Company. It is known that the construction process of the project has consulted with former leaders of the Party and State, leaders of Nghe An province, many experts and historians, with the expectation of turning the 9-storey waterfall into a symbolic cultural work, contributing to creating and promoting good values, bringing benefits to the community.
