On the afternoon of May 14th, the Thanh Xuan Ward Youth Council organized the final round of the "We Tell Stories About Uncle Ho" competition and honored outstanding Youth Union leaders and members for the year 2026.
The program is a practical activity to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Organization (May 15, 1941 - May 15, 2026) and the 136th anniversary of the birth of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026).

In his opening remarks, Comrade Tran Duc Anh, Deputy Secretary of the Ward Youth Union and Chairman of the Ward Children's Council of Thanh Xuan Ward, stated that the competition contributes to educating young members and children about the moral example and style of Ho Chi Minh through simple and relatable stories about him.
"Through this competition, the students have a better opportunity to understand the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh, thereby drawing practical lessons for their studies and training, and are determined to do well in implementing the five teachings of President Ho Chi Minh," said Comrade Tran Duc Anh.

Prior to the final round, the competition was held at the school-level, attracting nearly 300 participants. Following the preliminary round, the Organizing Committee selected 37 outstanding individuals, representing 11 primary and secondary school teams in the ward, to participate in the ward-level competition.

A highlight of the competition was the theatrical presentation of stories about President Ho Chi Minh, combining narration, acting, music , costumes, and appropriate props. This approach made the lessons about President Ho Chi Minh more relatable and vivid, allowing children to easily understand, remember, and follow his example.

Besides the storytelling competition, the program honored 8 teachers in charge of the Youth Union and 55 outstanding Youth Union members in 2026, recognizing their contributions to Youth Union work, studies, training, and children's movements in the ward.
