Major Vu Thi Huong Mai, a non-commissioned officer, received a commendation from the Minister of National Defense . |
Major Vu Thi Huong Mai shared: "Up until now, what I remember most is the image of the training days at the training ground in the harsh weather of the scorching summer sun, sometimes feeling like it was draining us completely. Then there were the days of torrential rain, we still stood in the rain, enthusiastically training, our clothes soaked, but still smiling brightly to encourage each other to overcome. Even during difficult times, we had great motivation from the Academy's commanders, leaders, and commanders of the Academy's agencies and units, as well as the encouragement and support from our families and comrades. Reflecting on those special months at A80, I feel even more deeply the spirit of patriotism that always burns brightly in the heart of every Vietnamese citizen."
What impressed Comrade Mai most during the course of his duties was witnessing the spirit of unity, discipline, and the moments of overcoming difficulties together on the training ground. It was this camaraderie and fellowship that was the greatest motivation, helping everyone overcome all challenges. They all encouraged each other every day, believing that they were contributing a small part to the overall success of this momentous event for the nation.
