Weather on the night of December 9 and December 10: Hue and the South Central Coast will have moderate to heavy rain

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting predicts that from the evening of December 9 and December 10, Hue city and the South Central Coast region will have moderate to heavy rain. Rainfall: 50-100mm, locally very heavy rain over 200mm.

In particular, in the evening and night of December 9, in the Central Highlands and the South: there will be showers and thunderstorms, rainfall of 10-30mm, locally heavy rain >80mm.

From December 10 to 11, the Southern region will have rain, moderate rain, locally heavy rain and thunderstorms, rainfall 20-50mm, locally >100mm.

The center warned that from the night of December 10, heavy rain in Hue city and the South Central Coast region is likely to gradually decrease. Heavy rain is likely to cause flooding in low-lying areas, urban and industrial areas; flash floods on small rivers and streams; and landslides on steep slopes.

Specific weather on the night of December 9 and December 10 in regions across the country is as follows:

Hanoi lowest temperature 15-17 degrees Celsius, highest temperature 25-27 degrees Celsius. No rain at night, early morning fog and scattered light fog, sunny afternoon. Northeast to East wind level 2-3, cold at night and morning.

The lowest temperature in the Northwest is 14-17 degrees Celsius, some places below 13 degrees Celsius, the highest temperature is 23-26 degrees, some places above 26 degrees Celsius. There will be rain at night in some places, early morning there will be fog and light fog scattered, sunny in the afternoon. Cold at night and morning, some places will be very cold.

The lowest temperature in the Northeast is 14-17 degrees Celsius, in mountainous areas it is below 13 degrees Celsius, and the highest temperature is 24-27 degrees Celsius. There will be rain in some places at night, scattered fog and light fog in the early morning, and sunny in the afternoon. Northeast to East wind level 2-3. Cold at night and in the morning, with some places in mountainous areas being very cold.

From Thanh Hoa to Hue, the lowest temperature is 17-20 degrees Celsius, the highest temperature is 23-26 degrees Celsius. There is rain in some places at night, early morning there is scattered fog and light fog, afternoon and evening there is less cloud and sunny weather; in the South there is rain in some places, especially in Hue city there is moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms. North to northwest wind level 2-3, cold at night and morning.

The South Central Coast region has the lowest temperature of 21-24 degrees Celsius, the highest temperature in the North is 25-27 degrees Celsius, the South is 28-30 degrees Celsius. There is moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms. Northeast to north wind level 3-4. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Central Highlands lowest temperature 17-20 degrees Celsius, some places below 16 degrees Celsius, highest temperature 24-27 degrees Celsius. There are scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. Northeast wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

In the Southern region, the lowest temperature is 22-25 degrees Celsius, the highest temperature is 29-32 degrees Celsius. At night, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain; during the day, there will be moderate rain and thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain. Northeast wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Ho Chi Minh City has the lowest temperature of 22-24 degrees Celsius, the highest temperature of 30-32 degrees Celsius. There will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, some places will have heavy rain; from tomorrow afternoon there will be rain, moderate rain and thunderstorms, some places will have heavy to very heavy rain. Northeast wind level 2-3, in thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
